There'll be new sellers at every session, so feel free to pop by both days!

WIWT Humble Sale

If you follow either myself or WIWT on Twitter then you will have seen us bang on about this jumble sale idea we had.

Basically, we have a lot of clothes we want to sell but eBay drives us mad. And we know a lot of you are the same. So we thought it would be cool to connect all the WIWTers with nice things that they would sell on eBay but can't be arsed to take a zillion photos/spend half their life at the post office/wrestle with idiot buyers over Paypal discrepancies. We're gonna host a jumble sale!

It's gonna be like the jumble sales you loved rummaging around at in your local school hall in the 90s, but we're calling it a 'Humble Sale' because we're raising money for charidee in the process. And instead of selling crap, we're hoping the WIWT boys and girls will have some pretty fash-tastic things for sale. We've heard peeps are planning to sell everything from Primark to Prada, H&M to Hermes, so we shall see!

The Humble Sale will be taking place across the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of April at Space Fifty Four at WIWT HQ (that's in Shoreditch, London). We will be raising money for The British Heart Foundation

Want to sell?

You can register to sell here, it will cost you a tenner (£10.90 with Eventbrite handling fee) and you keep all the money you make, so the amount you can make really depends on how much you have to sell!

You are welcome to sell womenswear items, fashion accessories, beauty products, cakes and other foodie goods. No kids clothes, please. The buyers coming will be from the WIWT community - which means you'll be predominantly selling to fashion savvy young females. If you wanna sell menswear though, we know there'll be stylish boys floating about too :)

Want to buy?

Register here for tickets to come and shop - there'll be some AMAZING bargains. By registering in advance you'll be able to jump the queue to get to those bargains first! You can of course just turn up on the day without registering, but whatever you do you'll need to donate a minimum of £2 to The British Heart Foundation to get in :) We'll have collection buckets on the door, so feel free to bring aaaaaaaall your loose change to support The BHF's life saving work.

Are you a brand that wants part of the action?

We would LOVE for you to donate a prize for our big raffle. We're going to be selling raffle tickets all weekend and every penny will go The British Heart Foundation. The BHF will be selling raffle tickets online too so anyone can play, even if they can't get down to The Humble Sale themselves! Please email if you can donate a prize, we'll be eternally grateful.

There'll be more information available shortly, but mark your diaries now and register for your selling slot now if that's what you wanna do!

The 20,000 Outfits WIWT Burrito Party

Yeah. Last week we partied. It wasn't so raucous that it's taken a week to recover and upload the photos, but it's been a bit of a whirlwind since the party and we haven't had much chance to breathe or, more importantly, blog.

So how does a fashion community celebrate reaching 20,000 outfit uploads?

With burritos! And cider! And cognac! And chocolate!

We've tried to carve ourselves out as the relatively 'normal' people in the world of fash-un, we know our palazzo from our capri but we also like carbs and booze. And we smile and stuff.

More than 100 shexsy WIWT-ers descended on London's best burrito joint last Monday - Chilango on Chancery Lane.

Chilango looked after us very well indeed - they proved what I already knew, that all you need to be happy is a DJ, guacamole, hot sauce and well dressed people.

An alarming number of attendees had NEVER had a burrito before, so it was quite the honour to indoctrinate them in the way of Chilango.

We had free flowing booze in the form of the ever so delicious pear and apple cider from Rekorderlig (you are all converted) and we had a truly scrummy punch that was more punchy than fruity thanks to our naughty friends at Courvoisier.

Suitably oiled and fed it's safe to say the night was a hoot. It was very weird (nice weird!) to see so many WIWTers in one room, it was literally like the website IN A REAL LIFE ROOM. Everyone was as gorgeous, lovely and immaculately turned out as you'd expect.

I was very proud indeed to see so many people there.

I also got lots of lovely cards and presents, so clearly I should hold events on my birthday more often. (Thank you for them!)

50 of our top users were lucky enough to get their manicured paws on our very limited edition goody bags which had treats from Cadbury (Bubbly is THE BEST), Boux Avenue, LOVE, Burt's Bees, Kleenex Cleanse, Compeed, iwhoretees and Chilango.

Pic stolen from Rosalilium

Here are some photos. There are more here thanks to the iwhore laydeez.

Thank you for playing!

More WIWT events soon...one is very soon actually. Watch this space!

WIWT does Manchester

Manchester is WIWT's second biggest city (and our secret number one fave) so it made sense that for our first official WIWT meet-up, we got smashed there on porn star martinis.

It was raucous fun and effing hot to see so many girls wearing iwhore in one bar!

Our bar of choice that night? The Alchemist. Do work your way through their cocktail list if you're ever in that neck of the woods.

The iwhore gals took loads of pics which are up on FB here, but here are some of our faves...

A huge thank you to everyone who came and makes this website as awesome as it is, WIWT loves you xxx

P.S

excuse our drunkenness x

National Wear Red Day for The British Heart Foundation

We are very very excited to be supporting the British Heart Foundation's Red for Heart campaign this February, and we'd like to cordially invite you all (yes, even you at the back) to wear red this Friday for National Wear Red Day.

Yep, on Friday 24th of February we want WIWT to become a sea of red outfits. Whether it's red jeans or a red dress or red trainers or red soled Loubies (jel!) - we want you to play a part and support this fab event.

Now I'm sure you all know that heart disease is a serious issue in the UK (and beyond!) but you may not realise that heart and circulatory disease is the UK’s biggest killer. It kills one in three men and one in three women. It kills three times more women than breast cancer. Whilst I appreciate it's not a gruesome competition, I know there are plenty of women who don't think heart disease is something they need to worry about. But unfortunately, it is.

BUT by turning red this Friday, you really can help the British Heart Foundation to reduce these numbers.

As part of National Heart Month, the nation’s heart charity is calling on the UK to help raise valuable money for its fight against heart disease. The British Heart Foundation is dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information. But they urgently need help and they rely on donations of time and money to continue their life-saving work.

So this Friday, please wear red and show it off on WIWT. Then, when you've uploaded your red outfit, please donate a couple of quid to The British Heart Foundation by texting WIWT24 £2 to 70070. You can donate more of course, you can donate any amount you like (but round to the nearest pound, please) by changing the amount in the text e.g WIWT24 £5 or WIWT24 £10 or WIWT24 £200 (if you're feeling particularly generous). The money will come off your phone bill and go straight to The British Heart Foundation to support their life-saving work. Clever, huh?

We can't WAIT to see your red outfits - a la BHF Supporter Rachel Stevens below - so please tell all your friends and support this wonderful cause.

It will be like Mufti Day! But online and you don't have to sit through Maths. (Unless you're a WIWT-er who is still at school, in which case we apologise - you still have to sit through Maths)

Meet us in Basingstoke this weekend at the Festival Place Fashion Festival

MEET US!

As much as we love spending hours shopping online, it's hard to beat a trip to the REAL SHOPS.

You can see the quality first hand, try stuff on (oh dear lord you can ACTUALLY try stuff on), be inspired by the shop displays, make it a day out with mates, take in the sale rails, actually touch and feel things.... There are lots of reasons to love a good old fashioned shopping day out.

This weekend (Friday 7th October to Sunday 9th of October) I'll be at Festival Place (with Paula!) for some serious offline shopping at their Fashion Festival.

There'll be catwalk shows and make-up demos and some fab prizes up for grabs! So def come on down if you're nearby, I'll be by the catwalk every day so do come and find me! (You can find out more on Festival Place's website). Paula and I will also be doing some style spotting of our own...so watch this space!

And don't forget to upload your outfits this weekend, one lucky winner will get £100 of Festival Place vouchers. Details to follow this weekend!

British Heart Foundation - Blogger Window Styling

This month, The British Heart Foundation invited a selection of bloggers to style the windows of their (fabulous) charity shops. Read about the amazing campaign here!

Whilst Jazzabelle from Jazzabelle's Diary styled their Clapham branch yesterday, I was invited to style the window of the Camden branch.

There was a huge amount of cool stuff in the shop - so it was very hard to edit it down! In the end I chose stuff inspired by my own tastes - so pulled out a F&F sample dress with huge 80s inspired shoulder pads (I'd happily have worn this to LFW!), a vintage polka dot red dress which I belted at the waist, some 90s denim shorts with floral tee and oversized pendant and a very 80s little black dress with feather detailing.

Discovering a stash of amazing vintage records from the 80s and 90s at the back of the shop, I decided to tie the looks together by adding these to the window. Salt n Pepa, David Bowie and Wham - what better style icons can you have?!
